FastForward Eligible Program: To qualify for FastForward programs, you must meet the Virginia Domicile requirements. Virginia "domicile" means you have lived in Virginia for at least one year and intend to stay indefinitely. A domicile determination form will be part of your registration process. If you qualify, you will pay one-third (1/3) of the cost of the program.

FASTFORWARD NCCER HVAC 3 PRICING:
  • Regular/Full Price: $2,250
  • FastForward Price: $750
  • FastForward plus Tobacco Commission Grant Price: $375

This course is the third in the series of four HVAC classes. Students must be certified in NCCER Core and HVAC 1 and 2. The increasing development of HVAC (heating and air-conditioning systems) technology causes employees to recognize the importance of continuous education and keeping up to speed with the lates equipment and skills. NCCER’s programs have been designed by highly qualified subject matter experts with this in mind. The four levels, North American Technician Excellence (NATE) recognized, present theoretical and practical skills essential to your success as an HVAC installer or technician.

The HVAC Level 3 course has twelve modules: fasteners, hardware, and wiring terminations, control circuit and motor troubleshooting, troubleshooting cooling, troubleshooting heat pumps, troubleshooting gas heating, troubleshooting oil heating, troubleshooting accessories, zoning, ductless, and variable refrigerant flow systems, commercial hydronic systems, and steam systems.
After successful completion of all twelve modules and homework assignments, students will receive a credential in HVAC 3.

   ** Students should have basic computer skills, basic math skills and be able to use a calculator to complete NCCER module testing and completion of homework assignments in CANVAS. **
