Short Description: The Veterinary Assistant Program prepares learners to enter a rewarding career working hands?on with animals in clinical and care settings. Designed for individuals with a passion for animal welfare and no prior experience required, this comprehensive program builds foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to assist veterinarians with daily operations, routine care, and patient support. Graduates are prepared for entry?level roles in veterinary hospitals, animal shelters, zoos, and related environments.

Instructor Description: This course is completely self-paced. Learners are provided access to the learner support helpdesk where they can ask any questions relating to the experience or curriculum.

Certification: Upon successful completion, students will be prepared to sit for the National Career Certification Board (NCCB) and/or Certified Animal Care Worker (CACW) national certification exams.
