Short Description: The Certified Mental Health Technician (CMHT) Program prepares learners for entry?level roles in mental and behavioral health settings, supporting individuals with psychological, developmental, and social challenges. Designed for those interested in psychology and mental health, this interactive, multimedia?rich program builds foundational knowledge in abnormal psychology, treatment approaches, and patient support strategies. Learners develop the skills needed to work compassionately, professionally, and effectively as part of a clinical care team across a variety of mental health environments.
Instructor Description: This class supported by an Educational Mentor. Educational mentors have worked or are working in the subject they mentor. Educational Mentors reviews student work, student progress, and interacts with students as needed. They respond to any questions or concerns you might have, as well as encouraging and motivating you to succeed.
Certification: Upon successful completion, learners will be eligible to sit for the National Certification Board for Breath Coaches (NCCB) Certified Mental Health Technician (CMHT) national certification exam.
