Short Description: The Medical Administrative Assistant with OB/GYN Focus program is designed for learners seeking employment in medical office administration with specialized preparation for obstetrics and gynecology practices. This course introduces the role and responsibilities of a medical administrative assistant within the healthcare industry while providing targeted training to confidently support OB/GYN office operations. Upon completion, learners are prepared to transition into an assisting role and pursue professional certification to strengthen their employability.
Instructor Description: This course provides students with qualified support professionals to guide them through their learning experience. The student support team is available to answer any questions a learner may have including questions on course content, course material, certifications, and registration or enrollment questions. Support advisers also monitor the progress of learners to ensure training retention and program advancement.
Certification: As part of this program, students receive an exam voucher for the nationally recognized Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Please note that individual states may have additional licensing or employment requirements; students are encouraged to consult their state’s occupational licensing board for specific details.
