Short Description: The Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) program prepares learners for a dynamic, in?demand healthcare career by developing essential clinical and administrative competencies required in modern medical settings. Offered through accredited school partners, the program emphasizes hands?on patient care, including vital signs, phlebotomy, electrocardiography (EKGs), medication administration, infection control, and electronic health records. Learners also gain foundational knowledge in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and OSHA to support safe, ethical, and high?quality patient care.
Instructor Description: This class supported by an Educational Mentor. Educational mentors have worked or are working in the subject they mentor. Educational Mentors review student work, student progress, and interact with students as needed. They respond to any questions or concerns you might have, as well as encouraging and motivating you to succeed.
Certification: Upon successful completion of this program, learners will be eligible to sit for the NHA CCMA exam.
