Short Description: The Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares learners to safely draw blood and prepare specimens for laboratory testing while delivering compassionate, patient?centered care. With advancing technologies driving increased testing needs across healthcare, trained phlebotomy technicians are in steady demand. This program blends foundational anatomy, venipuncture techniques, specimen processing, and patient communication, plus a lifespan specialization from pediatrics to geriatrics. Exam prep and an optional clinical externship support job readiness from day one.
Instructor Description: Though this course is self-paced, it is supported by a client adviser. Client advisers are available to answer student questions and monitor student progress to ensure completion of the course. Motivating and encouraging students, the client adviser gives students inspiration to succeed.
Certification: Upon completion of this program, learners will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Phlebotomy Technician Exam.
