Short Description: The Life Skills Coaching Program – Level 2 prepares learners to become effective, confident Life Skills Coaches while simultaneously developing the foundation for a successful coaching business. Building on core coaching fundamentals, this program guides learners through advanced coaching strategies that support clients in identifying life purpose, overcoming obstacles, cultivating a positive mindset, and living with integrity. Throughout the course, learners actively develop a practical business plan and clarify the vision, structure, and services of their own coaching practice.
Instructor Description: Though this program is a self-paced program it is supported by an educational mentor. Educational mentors are subject matter experts who have years of experience in their field as well as the necessary educational training and credentials to work as an expert. The mentor is available to answer any questions a learner may have including questions on course content, course material, certifications, and even industry questions. Mentors also monitor the progress of learners to ensure training retention and program advancement. In eLearning, motivation is a key tool to success. Because of this, mentors provide encouraging comments, feedback, and coaching to motivate learners throughout the duration of the program to support completion and success!
Certification: The Certified Life Skills Coach (CSLC) certification exam prepares individuals for a career as a Life Skills Coach. Attaining national certification displays that individuals have mastered the latest industry information and skill set necessary to become a successful and highly recognized professional in the field of Life Skills Coaching.
A Certified Life Skills Coach (CLSC) assists people with making decisions about improving their personal and professional lives. As a Certified Life Skills Coach (CLSC) it is imperative to study the best practices to offer guidance in an on-going collaborative effort with clients. Job opportunities for Certified Life Skills Coaches (CLSC) are often found in large companies, school systems, behavioral and mental healthcare clinics. Certified Life Skills Coaches can also become self-employed and start their own lucrative coaching business.
Upon completion of this program, learners are eligible to sit for the Certified Life Skills Coach exam.
