Short Description: The Medical Administrative Assistant Program prepares learners for essential administrative roles in today’s rapidly expanding healthcare system. As medical offices, clinics, hospitals, and outpatient centers continue to grow in size and complexity, the demand for skilled medical administrative professionals has increased significantly. This program provides comprehensive instruction in medical office operations, healthcare communication, ethics and law, medical terminology, insurance billing and coding fundamentals, records management, and practice finances, equipping learners to function confidently in a variety of healthcare settings.
Instructor Description: This course provides students with qualified support professionals to guide them through their learning experience. The student support team is available to answer any questions a learner may have including questions on course content, course material, certifications, and registration or enrollment questions. Support advisers also monitor the progress of learners to ensure training retention and program advancement.
Certification: As part of this program, students receive an exam voucher for the nationally recognized Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Please note that individual states may have additional licensing or employment requirements; students are encouraged to consult their state’s occupational licensing board for specific details.
