CompTIA A+ - FastForward

FastForward Eligible Program: To qualify for FastForward programs, you must meet the Virginia Domicile requirements. Virginia "domicile" means you have lived in Virginia for at least one year and intend to stay indefinitely. A domicile determination form will be part of your registration process. If you qualify, you will pay one-third (1/3) of the cost of the program. If you have a financial need, you may also qualify for Financial Assistance (G3) that can pay 100% of your third.

The CompTIA A+ Core Series requires candidates to pass two examinations: Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102). These exams focus on new content that underscores the technologies and skills required by IT professionals supporting a hybrid workforce:

• Software as a Service (SaaS) applications for remote work
• Remote diagnosis & repair of common software/hardware/ connectivity issues
• Evolving technologies (cloud apps, Internet of Things (IoT) device security, data management, scripting, etc.)
• Usage and maintenance of multiple operating systems
• Onsite repair options vs. delegation to remote specialists

Additionally, you will learn and apply methods from two highly sought after areas in Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing. This course will prepare you to take and pass the CompTIA A+ exam, boosting opportunities for your IT career. Prior knowledge of hardware and software is required prior to taking this course.
