Certified Nurse Aide Education Program - FastForward

FastForward Eligible Program: To qualify for FastForward programs, you must meet the Virginia Domicile requirements. Virginia "domicile" means you have lived in Virginia for at least one year and intend to stay indefinitely. A domicile determination form will be part of your registration process. If you qualify, you will pay one-third (1/3) of the cost of the program. If you have a financial need, you may also qualify for Financial Assistance (G3) that can pay 100% of your third. 
 
FASTFORWARD Nurse Aide PRICING:
 
  • Regular/Full Price: $3,450
  • FastForward Price: $1,150
  • FastForward plus Tobacco Commission Grant Price: $575
  • FastForward plus G3 Price: $0 *
* You must come into the Workforce Solutions office to apply for G3 funding prior to enrollment. 

This program is tailored to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to embark on a rewarding career in health care as a nurse aide. With successful completion of this program, students will meet the requirements for the NNAAP exam- a certification test that students may take after graduating from the Nurse Aide Program.

The Nurse Aide Program is 6 weeks in length and is completed in-person at either the main Centra College campus or the Bedford Memorial Hospital branch campus. Students can expect to be in class for lecture and skills lab sessions from 8:00am-3:00pm Monday through Friday. Clinical experiences take place at multiple clinical affiliate locations and students can expect to be in clinical from 6:45am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.
