This class consist of an introduction to Mig welding basics, how to set and safely use a Mig welder, and basic shop safety. We will be building a project on the last day of class similar to a rocket stove. Students will tour three manufacturing plans on day two of the camp.
Participants will need to bring lunch each day and an optional snack.
For safety reasons, you MUST wear tennis shoes or closed toe shoes, long sleeve shirt, and long pants (NO SHORTS).
Participants should not arrive any earlier than 15 minutes before the start of the camp to allow proper set-up time for the instructor. Electronic devices will not be permitted in the classroom. Cell phones are permitted during breaks and/or end of class. Parents must walk their child to the Student Center each day and come inside in the afternoon at 3:00pm.
