The Trades camp for Electrical and HVAC will give students the basic understanding of Electricity and HVAC. Topics will include what is HVAC and Electrical, how they work, jobs they can lead to, and a hands-on approach of basics for both. We will spend equal amount of time going over the electrical and HVAC trades and allow the students to work with their hands in the labs doing basic projects that relate to both fields. There will be people from various industries coming to camp to talk with students about careers in the trade.
Students will need to bring lunch each day and an optional snack.
For safety reasons, you MUST wear tennis shoes or closed toe shoes.
Students should not arrive any earlier than 15 minutes before the start of the camp to allow proper set-up time for the instructor. Electronic devices will not be permitted in the classroom. Cell phones are permitted during breaks and/or end of class. Parents must walk their child to the Student Center each day and come inside in the afternoon at 3:00pm.
