CourseGraphic Calling all Makers and Inventors, Engineers and Crafters - join us as we pull out the glue guns and soldering irons, the power tools and sewing needles! The sky will be the limit as we build and launch our own solid fuel model rockets.  We won’t stop there though – we’ll make electronic instruments to play with our friends, create wearable circuits to light up our clothes and build microscopes to investigate pond water life.  In between our own projects we will meet with local engineers and inventors to find out what is being made right here in Lynchburg!   This STEM camp is for all who love to make  - beginner and experienced - tools, training and supplies will be provided!

Students will need to bring a lunch each day of camp and an optional snack. Students should not arrive any earlier than 15 minutes before the start of camp to allow proper set-up time for the instructor. Electronic devices will not be permitted in the classroom. Cell phones are permitted during breaks and/or end of class. For safety reasons, we ask all camp participants to wear tennis shoes or closed toe shoes.

If you have a financial need please contact our office at 434-832- 6686.
